I sit on all committees and act as link and child protection governor. Recently I became the lead governor for maths. Until July of this year I worked in a primary school in Ealing.

I have three children, with my husband John, two girls and a son. The girls are now attending university. Hollie is studying physics, Hannah a degree in quantity surveying and Sean is at Gunnersbury school preparing for his GCSE exams this year.

If you need to contact me please make arrangements through the school office.

Dr Jim Park -  LA Appointed Governor and Vice Chair of Governors

I am Jim Park, your Local Authority governor since 2012.  My term of office will expire in August 2020.

I am married to Alison, a former teacher.  We have two grown up children and two granddaughters who keep us busy.

Following retirement from the Civil Service I have been the librarian at a local Catholic Primary School as a volunteer, a tutor in the Open University and a magistrate in the local area.  I have been involved as a volunteer in children’s education for over 40 years.  I am enjoying building on that experience as a governor.

Currently I have a special interest in Early Years, I chair the Admissions and Personnel and Pay committees and am also a member of the Achievements and Standards committee.  I am Vice-chair of the Governing Board for the current year.

Colin Lucas - Foundation Governor

My name is Colin Lucas. I have been a Foundation Governor (appointed by the Diocese) at Saint Mary’s School for some 12 years. I feel very privileged to be a governor here and have enjoyed contributing to the life and development of the school. I  am excited as to what the future holds as we oversee the expansion of the school to 2 forms of entry and the  wonderful opportunity that gives us to serve the local Catholic community more fully.

I am named governor for English. My current term ends 31/08/18.

My three childrne all atended St Mary’s - Diana graduated from Nottingham University and having worked for Unilever is currently travelling and working in Australia. William graduated from Southampton Solent University and Fran is currently at Bournemouth University.

I work as a Podiatrist in New Malden and for relaxation I like to play the guitar and am part of the music group at Our Lady of Sorrows & Saint Bridget.

Sara Corry - Parent Elected Governor

My name is Sara Corry, I was elected as a parent governor in February 2014 and my term of office ends 04/02/18.

I have lived in Isleworth for the last 18 years with my partner Liam and we have two daughters, Orla who attended St Mary’s and is now in Year 8 at Gumley House and Phoebe who is currently in Year 5.

After spending many years working in the television industry, I retrained in 2010 to become a swimming teacher (specialising in baby swimming) so I could spend more time with the girls when they started school (12 hour nightshifts don't work well with the school run and homework!)

I am currently on the Achievements & Standards Committee and Chair of the Premises & Health & Safety committee.  I am also the governor for Looked After Children.

Mary Hooper - Foundation Governor

I have been a Foundation Governor since 2013, I sit on the Finance Committee (due to my high level of experience in the property business), Personnel & Pay Committee, and am an Appeals Officer for the Westminster diocese, all of which are challenges I have enjoyed greatly. I have been a resident of Hounslow since I moved to the UK from New Zealand when I was 21. I have been a trained teacher since the age of 20, and have taught in numerous schools in many boroughs of London.

I have four children, all of whom are grown up, with one studying at the University of St Andrews, two working as academics in Germany and the USA, and one working as a lawyer in Canary Wharf. Their various experiences with learning difficulties led me to the career I have had for the last few years: working as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator in schools across London.

Having gained my MA in education in 2016, and my SENCo qualification in 2013, I am currently working towards an MA in Specialist Dyslexia Teaching and Assessment having just passed the specialist teaching section.  I am always keen to learn new skills, so I often attend governor training courses to broaden my knowledge.

Catalina Giglio - Parent Elected Governor

Hi, my name is Catalina Giglio and I was elected as a parent governor in December 2014.  I was born in Argentina and lived in London for the last 14 years with my husband Hernan; we have four children Millie who currently attends Gumley, Tomas at Gunnersbury, Camila  and Olivia, both at St. Mary's.

I have worked in the marketing area before moving to London. For the last 6 years I have worked as a PA for a group of independent primary schools.  I am looking forward to all the challenges 2015 will bring as a governor and to the expansion of the school.

Before starting our family I worked in the travel industry but unfortunately as much as I loved travelling around the world it wouldn’t leave much time for the family so I’ve decided to put my career on hold and became a full time mum.  In the past few years I have become very interested in the concept of functional medicine and I am now a year 2 student at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition, studying to become a nutritional therapist.

I currently chair the  Achievements & Standards committee and am also Vice-chair of the Finance committee as well as Year 2 governor. My term of office ends on 31/08/2017.
